Woah! Am I really writing this post?!? Here we are, almost 8 weeks pregnant, and I am getting ready to announce to the world that we are expecting! I’m still a little in denial. There are SO many things I want to talk about, so many emotions I have, and just overall LIFE that I haven’t been able to fully talk about since oh…July? Which totally wasn’t that long ago, but in the blogging world, that is a LONG time! I feel like I’ve been keeping a big secret from all my closest friends. BUT NOW YOU KNOW!!!!
If you’re new around here, let me catch you up. We got married in 2014 and started trying for a baby in April of that year. I talked often about what it was really like trying for a baby, I talked about what it felt like trying for a baby for one year, and ultimately I talked about my emotions with our miscarriage in 2016. And now here we are, 4 1/2 years later, PREGNANT!
Ahhh. That is still so weird to say out loud!!!!
I really thought we would keep this hush hush for way longer than we did. However, I fully believe that EVERY life should be fully celebrated, no matter how long that is. So yes, some people may judge me for posting about our pregnancy at only 8 weeks, but I am confident in our decision and I am so excited to rejoice with ALL our friends and family about this special miracle heading our way!!! And also, we had an 8 year old that was just REALLY excited to tell her friends! I mean, can you blame her?!?
I have so much I want to share with you guys and I will get there. I promise. For now, I needed to share our good news. I needed to celebrate. I needed to shout from the top of my lungs that WE. ARE. PREGNANT! It hasn’t been an easy road. It’s been emotional highs and lows like nothing else. But every second is worth it. All of those moments have led us right here. And we are so excited to become parents again. We are so excited to bring another life into this beautiful world we live in.
Baby, you are SO loved already. You’re coming into a family that is a little weird, kinda crazy, and filled with a whole lot of love. I can’t wait for you to meet your big sister and your handsome dad. Get ready for a wild ride. We will see you in April.
Congratulations! I agree – every life is one to be celebrated!
Congratulations. I know how happy you are. It is my prayer that you have a wonderful pregnancy and beautiful baby that will be a joy to your family.
Congratulations! I am so happy for you. Sometimes in life we have to deal with the bad before the good, but in the end, as long as keep faith great things will happen!
Congratulations on the little one. I’m sorry that you had a tough journey.
Oh my goodness, congratulations! I’m so excited for you! I tried to have a baby for 3 years with my ex husband, I KNOW the struggle. I’m so so happy for you! Thank you for being open and telling us about it! 🙂
Congrats! The Lord has truly Blessed you! Life is such a beautiful celebration. My kids have been such a blessing in my life. Praying for a healthy pregnancy!
