When I started this blog, it was because I LOVED writing and I loved sharing. Writing has always been a huge passion of mine. If you know me, you know I’ve always been one to share. I am almost ALWAYS an open book and I love how my story, journey, and experiences has impacted other women around the world.
My first blog post was in July of 2013! I was recently engaged to my husband and a LOT of people were interested in knowing MORE! I don’t blame them, he’s an awesome guy. I have talked about everything on this blog from food and recipes, to thrifting and saving money. I’ve talked about the highs and lows of pregnancy and miscarriage and even some of our travels!
Blogging has always been such an up and down thing for me. I truly do LOVE it and it brings me so much joy, but there has been a shift in the blogging community in the last few years that is all about selling yourself and making that money. Which I am TOTALLY on board for! But sometimes….I just want to write because I love writing, and love sharing. So that’s what I’m doing!
Have you ever thought about starting a blog? Every person who has ever asked if they should start a blog, my answer is always YES! I once wrote a post called There Is Room For You On The Internet. If you read ANY of my posts, please read that one. I know the feeling all too well of thinking “well those people do it better than me, I don’t need to start”. Or convincing yourself that you don’t have any content to put out. But trust me, friend, there is room for you in this world of the internet! Your life and experiences are different than everyone else’s in this world.
If you’ve been on the fence about starting a blog, PLEASE DO IT! This community has been so amazing to be apart of. I have made AMAZING friends through the internet and I am so grateful for each and every one of them. If you have questions on HOW to start a blog, please feel free to message me with ANY questions you have! You can email me or even DM me on IG!
Happy blogging, beautiful people!
